It's a picture perfect day for watching the holiday steam train from the ridge.
The Fall colors are gorgeous this year. We checked them out yesterday at Tryon and Foothills Parks in Lake Oswego. The boys had a great time playing with all the leaves!
It's an exciting day! After a week of parades, parties and pumpkin fun, it's finally time for the trick or treating tonight. Nash and Reed (aka Luigi and Mario) can hardly wait!
Presenting Mario and Luigi Newton! Reed and Nash are so excited about Halloween this year. Some celebrations have already begun - pumpkin carving party, the community center Spooktacular - but many more are coming.... it should be a big, fun, tiring, week!
Soccer season is almost over... time to reclaim our Saturday mornings! But the boys have loved it and it's pretty fun to watch, as long as it's not raining!
It's that time of year again.... pumpkin patch season! Nash and Reed love visiting pumpkin farms, especially the ones on beautiful Sauvie Island, and since the weather was so nice this weekend we decided to hit two of them! Our friends Will and Heather joined us Friday and Loren and Jennifer came with us on Sunday. The boys got nice and muddy searching for the perfect pumpkins, running through the corn maze, riding the cown train and bumping along on the hay ride. We will have plenty of jack-o-lanterns decorating our front steps this year!
