Nash, Reed and their buddy, Loren, enjoyed a warm, sunny Sunday recently at the amusement park near us. Their favorite rides these days include anything that goes fast, whirls them around or goes upside down. Luckily, they are big enough now to ride them on their own!

We capped off spring break with a weekend in Seattle - visiting friends, a couple museums and enjoying the big city. We stayed with Austin friends, Dave and Maria, and their girls, and got to see SF friend, Sally, too. Lots of fun!

Marcy had a great time in Banff, enjoying a galpal getaway with high school buddies, Janice and Sandy. So fun to get the girl time, sans kids, but I'm looking forward to the summer road trip to Calgary with Hal and the boys too.

Nash and Reed had a great time on their Sellwood Snow Leopards basketball team. It was their first time playing basketball on a team but Coach Molly did a great job teaching them the ins and outs of the game. March Madness has hit our house, and they each have their brackets filled out... based, of course, on cuteness of mascots and colors of uniforms!

Nash and Reed are the newly appointed "god-daddies" of our neighor's year-old cute-as-can-be dog, Bel. Mary gave them an all-access pass, which means they can walk, play and have fun with Bel to their heart's content. Works for us - all the fun of a dog without the food and vet bills! 
The boys also got to take care of a friend's kittens this past weekend.

Nash and Reed had fun at "Raptor Round-Up" on Sauvie Island today, following in their Papa's birding footsteps. We saw amazing hawks, eagles and other raptors, as well as hundreds of sandhill cranes, snow geese and ducks... and the warm, sunny spring-like weather didn't hurt!
